After racing his bike full time in 1999 for a French cycling team, Chris has gathered a wealth of knowledge and understanding about the body and musculoskeletal system. He worked for many years as Personal Trainer, a Fitness Instructor and a Cycling coach. He currently works as a Clinical Sport & Remedial Massage therapist, Sports Coach and a and has now joined Jonathan at his clinic based at the Whitley and Knightwood Clinics.
After studying Swedish massage in 2011, Chris studied at the London School of Sports Massage and graduated with an ISRM / BTEC (Level 5) Professional Diploma in Clinical Sport & Remedial Massage Therapy in 2012, allowing him to work to the highest level within the industry.
Chris has had a passion for sport and the body since his youth when he cycled competitively for his county and has raced internationally as part of several cycle teams. He has used his knowledge and experience to advise others in the field of sport and fitness, including health and nutrition. Through his experience and training, Chris has learnt about the importance of massage therapies for rehabilitation and performance enhancement in competitive and recreational sports.
Chris has developed an array of skills and techniques to effectively treat a wide range of patients, from elite athletes with sporting injuries to people from all walks of life with postural imbalances and soft tissue injuries. Chris is highly professional and the quality and care he provides ensures the patients are as comfortable as possible while promoting quick and effective recovery to any injury scenario.
In his spare time, Chris enjoys keeping fit and healthy and still competes on the bike though more for fun now. He enjoys most sporting activities from bodyboarding to skiing. He also likes to DJ at parties.
